Calendar Magic supports using various calendar systems, including Gregorian, Chinese, Julian, Persian, Islamic, Vietnamese and many others; and allows converting between them. Besides, you can use dual calendars to compare a given date in one of the specific systems and its corresponding Gregorian date. It can also be used as a calendar planner, with the particularity that the scheduled events are synchronized through all the different calendars, regardless of the system.
The application is packed with different features, some of them are quite unusual. Although it is not difficult to use, its interface is still somewhat messy. This is probably due to the fact that some of the extra features have little or nothing to do with the main purpose of the application. However, there are some of these features that caught my attention. One of them is “This is your life”, which shows information that includes the day of the week on which you were born, the number of days you have lived, and so on. Other handy features are a comprehensive unit converter, a currency converter, a fuel consumption calculator and a pregnancy calculator, to mention but a few.
In general, Calendar Magic is very versatile. However, in my opinion, its interface and even its name need to be changed with a new conception. Besides its practical value, this tool can be used as an educational aid in teaching mathematical formulae.
